Jason Pride with Hy-Vee joined us in the studio this morning just after the 7:30 news to fill us in on the Hy-Vee/WHO Radio meat giveaway! Two lucky winners will each receive a side of beef, one lucky winner will receive a whole hog and one lucky winner will win a whole lamb! These are the Grand Champion 4-H Market winners from the Sale of Champions at the Iowa State Fair. Congratulations to the young folks who raised and showed these animals at the Iowa State Fair...Logan McCrea, Maxwell Lodge and Brooke Kuesel! I am planning on going to the Iowa Cubs game tonight...(last Friday night for fireworks)...along with my husband and 7 year-old Carter. Jeff Angelo and his wife are also planning on going. Maybe we'll see you there!!!!
