Convenience store robbed early Friday PHOTOS

The Johnston Police Department is asking the public for help identifying two suspects that committed an armed robbery at Kum & Go, located at 6130 NW 86th Street in Johnston on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, just after 1:00 a.m.

The first suspect is identified as a black male, approximately 16 to 21 years of age, approximately 5′ 8″ tall, skinny, wearing blue jeans, black low-top Nike sneakers with a white swoosh, and a black and gray track jacket with a white hood. The subject had the hood cinched tight to prevent full viewing of his face and was carrying a black handgun in his right hand.

The second suspect is identified as a black male, approximately 16 to 21 years of age, skinny, wearing blue jeans, silver/gray and white tennis shoes, and a gray track jacket with black sleeves and a black hood. The subject had the hood cinched tight, black mask over the lower half of his face and was carrying a green and white backpack. 

Both suspects are identified by the victim as having slight accents.

The Johnston Police Department's investigation into this case remains active. No further information will be released at this time.
