West Des Moines Police are investigating an Attempted Abduction.
A 15 year old female told police she was walking home from Valley High School, and says a man attempted to force her into his pick-up truck Wednesday after 3 pm.
Police say the teen says it happened in an apartment parking lot near the school. She told police after a brief struggle, she pulled away and ran to a nearby apartment building for help.
She described the man as Hispanic, driving an black Cadillac Escalade pick-up (EXT).
West Des Moines Officers are looking for witnesses and evidence, and are asking the public for information that might help in the investigation.
