Will DACA delay tax reform?

An American Farm Bureau official disputes the claim by media and others that President Trump’s six-month grace period for Congress to come up with a replacement for the DACA immigration program for undocumented youth, will delay tax reform efforts, key for agriculture/AFB trade advisor Pat Wolff doesn’t buy the claim that Congress has now been knocked off its fall schedule for tax reform by DACA repeal and spending bills to keep the government open:

Wolff says passing tax reform, which could boost producers' bottom line amid continued low commodity prices, has never been easy. But she points out that Congress has been laying the groundwork for reform:

Wolff cautions that doesn't mean tax reform will get done right away. The stated goal is to do it this year, but she says the schedule could spill over into the beginning of next year, with the hope a bill can be enacted before the campaign season gets into full swing.
