IOWA CITY, IOWA - Two little girls walking home from school in Iowa City Tuesday afternoon tell police a man in a red car exposed himself. Twice.
"It appears the suspect lifted himself up in the seat so he could expose himself to the victims." Said Iowa City Police Sergeant Scott Gaarde.
He says it was a little after 3:00 Tuesday afternoon that the man drove past the girls in a small red car near Court Street and Washington Park Road.
He says the girls tell police the man turned around and drove past them a second time, exposing himself again.
The children are 5 and 9 years old.
Gaarde says the man is described as between 30 to 40 years old, with brown hair in a ponytail and some facial hair. He was wearing a white tank top with a picture on it and possibly brown shorts.
He says there was a similar case in June.
