It's been 20 years since Titanic debuted, changing James Cameron and Kate Winslet's lives forever. Now they're teaming up again for Cameron's Avatar sequels. Kate joined returning actors Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, CCH Pounder, and Stephen Lang to begin filming last week in California.
No word on what type of character she will be playing, but there will be four sequels, with the first coming to theaters on Dec. 18, 2020. “Avatar 3” will premier on Dec. 17, 2021, then there will be a three-year break before “Avatar 4,” set for release on Dec. 20, 2024. “Avatar 5” is scheduled to debut on Dec. 19, 2025.
