Four finalists for ISU's new president

Iowa State University has released the name of the fourth finalist in the search for the next president and she works there, now.    

Wendy Wintersteen of Iowa State’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is scheduled to meet with staff, students and others, Thursday.

The first finalist, Sonny Ramaswamy, visited ISU on Monday.  He’s director of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture in Washington, D.C.  

Pamela Whitten, was on campus Tuesday.  She’s with the University of Georgia. 

The third finalist, Dale Whittaker, is visiting the Ames campus Wednesday.  He’s executive vice president at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  

After today, it's up to the Board of Regents to make the final decision, later this month.
