(Riverside, Iowa) A southeast Iowa mother and father are behind bars, accused in the death of their 17-month-old baby girl.
The Washington County Iowa Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Ambrashia Chrzan and 36-year-old Anthony McCoy, both of Riverside, are facing charges after their 17-month-old child, was found unresponsive in her crib.
The death has been ruled a homicide, an autopsy report cites malnutrition and neglect as factors. The 17-month old weighed just eleven pounds at death.
Both parents are in the Washington County Jail.
