(Des Moines, Iowa) Des Moines Police have arrested a Saylor Township man, accused of stabbing his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend six times.
Officers were called to SW 7th and M-L-K late last night, on a report of a stabbing. They found 44-year-old Thomas Ransom with stab wounds. Police say Ransom had been meeting the ex-girlfriend when her current boyfriend, 24-year-old Jared Smith showed up, and the two men fought.
Smith's been arrested on a willful injury causing injury charge, and was taken to the Polk County Jail.
He was also wanted by police in Colorado and Nebraska.
Ransom's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
