At approximately 2:28 A.M. on Monday, December 4, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Swift Stop located at 1118 South Duff Avenue.
The suspect was described to officers by the clerk as a black male, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap, and orange pants. He pulled a handgun, pointed it at the clerk, and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect cash from the register and the male left the store southbound towards the Best Buy parking lot.
Officers have processed the scene and are determining the extent of loss at this point.
