(Mason City, Iowa) The colorful Canadian Pacific Holiday train rolls into the northern Iowa Wednesday night, December 6th, 2017. The CP Holiday train is decked out in Christmas lights, and makes multiple stops in Canada and the U-S, money for local food banks. Since the train began operating in 1999, the effort has raised $13 million and four million pounds of food for local food banks.
Musicians on board give performances at each stop.
The train's in Mason City tonight, (Wednesday night), in Charles City Thursday, then onto Marquette, Lansing, and New Albin, Iowa by Thursday night.
