The Des Moines City Council approved massive changes to downtown Des Moines parking, including eliminating the free parking on Saturdays. The cost of parking in parking ramps on Saturday will be reduced. Check out the entire conversation here...
Traci McBee joined us this morning to tell us how your kids can write a letter to Santa and get a hand-written answer back! Simply have your child address their letter to Santa, North Pole, c/o Des Moines Post Office, 1165 2nd Avenue...no stamp needed. Be sure to have your child give their entire return address so Santa can reply. Santa's helpers will begin responding to letters on December 12th. Please do not send money or candy to Santa because it can damage the post office machines. Hear Traci's entire interview here...

Tomorrow on Van and Bonnie, we will have the Pinky Swear Radiothon! There will be all sorts of prizes you can win by donating, including a snow blower from the Van Wall Group! The fund raiser will go all day from 5AM thru 7PM.
Tomorrow night is the Des Moines' Most Likeable People Charity Event from 7-10PM at Decades Event Center...I hope to see you there!
