(Ankeny, Iowa) Ankeny Police are looking for a man, reported missing this (Friday) afternoon. Twenty-year old John Soares III, lives with a group of people who require 24-hour supervision.
It's believed Soares left 406 SE 6 Street on foot. He's African American, 5'9" and weighs 260 pounds, and is believed to be wearing blue jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt. Police say he has diminished mental capacity, but is highly functioning.
Anyone that may have had contact with Soares or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Polk County Dispatch Center at 515-289-3333.
