The administrator of the US Small Business Administration came to Des Moines Wednesday to hear from business owners in the state.
At a closed-door roundtable, Linda McMahon was joined by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds in hearing from business leaders about their concerns regarding federal regulation and tax policy.
On WHO Radio's "Van and Bonnie" program Wednesday, McMahon said in other discussions with business leaders, she's hearing they want the tax reform legislation currently working through Congress to become law.
McMahon says small business owners have told her they'll use the money they save in taxes for "investment in their business and raises." She says she's also hearing about concerns over "workforce development."
