Elvis was a perfectionist in the studio, recording multiple takes of songs in search of making every note memorable. He brought that relentless pursuit of perfection to recording his first Christmas album and it shows. This is the best Christmas album ever.
It also has a GREAT deal of sentimental value to me. Elvis is my dad's favorite. I grew up with a General Electric stereo in the middle of my living room. When dad put this album on the turntable, it was officially Christmas.
