DES MOINES, IOWA - Another round of bitter cold temperatures and wind chills are forecast into Wednesday morning in Iowa. Wind chill values from -15 to near -30 below zero are possible overnight Tuesday to Wednesday.
Light snow is expected by Wednesday evening and then another round of light snow is possible on Friday, before the temperatures plunge, again.
Another blast of cold this weekend
By Friday night, Iowa National Weather Service Meteorologist Kenny Prodrazik says, a prolonged period of frigid temperatures and dangerously cold wind chills are expected again, through the weekend.
High temperatures in northern Iowa this weekend will likely remain below zero.
