Pilot killed in Mahaska County, Iowa plane crash named

(Osklaloosa, Iowa)  Authorities have released the name of a pilot, killed in a Mahaska County plane crash Saturday, December 23rd.

The Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office says 70-year-old Marshalltown resident Bruce Gene Devick died after his plane struck a power line and crashed.

The single engine, two-seat sport airplane crashed near 2082 210th Street in rural Oskaloosa.  

The Mahaska County Sheriff's Office, the F-A-A and National Transportation Board are investigating the incident.
