The Daily Beast reports that the Justice Department will be looking into Hillary Clinton's emails - again.
The President has the power to direct the department to investigate - or NOT- investigate certain matters. He's made it clear on Twitter that he is unhappy with the previous outcome of the email investigation.
“Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”
As heard on my show, the bigger issue for me (and maybe THIS investigation reveals more about this issue) is the extent to which our Intelligence Community, FBI, and Department of Justice use their powers to agitate against certain elected officials (when they don't like them) and PROTECT certain elected officials when they do.
It appears that this investigation will center on the behavor of Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
Last week, the State Department released emails, in response to a lawsuit from the conservative group Judicial Watch, showing that classified material was on the computer of Abedin’s then-husband Anthony Weiner. Sources told The Daily Beast that Justice Department officials were looking into the Clinton emails before those documents were released.
I wonder: were people around the Clintons SO confident that she'd win that they knew they'd never be held accountable for their actions?
