Des Moines International Airport reveals new dining experiences!!!!

Van and I were invited to the Des Moines International Airport's "reveal" of the dining experiences available at the airport!  We toured the Berk & Chester's restaurant available before you go thru security and feasted on sugared maple bacon, country fried steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli, spring rolls and more...everything made from scratch!  Then we moved on to the new Hudson store (also before going thru security) where they put the bridges of Des Moines...the downtown skyline and more in the area above the store.  Most of the products sold in the store are Iowa made.  Then we went thru security and toured Arugula & Rye, the Hudson Store (where we sampled the hottest hot sauce!), and Portermill Restaurant where they showcase Iowa's craft brewing industry with 18 different Iowa-made beers on tap, plus another 30 in bottles and cans.  We feasted on burgers, pizza, chicken with carrots and more!  See some of the pictures below as well as hear our talk about it on-air this morning.
