DES MOINES, IOWA - Looks like we'll be having more than one January thaw in Iowa this year. Another one is coming Thursday and Friday.
"Temperatures on Tuesday peaked at about 10 degrees in the Des Moines Metro." National Weather Service Meteorologist Andrew Ansorge tells WHO Radio News.
"We're looking at, by Friday, temperatures in the middle 40's around the Des Moines Metro." He says.
"About 35 degrees in just a couple of days, so definitely swinging around as far as temperatures go this January."
It won't last long. Ansorge says cold temperatures will return again next week.
