To preface this post, I'd like to quote my favorite t-shirt: "I may be old, but I got to see all the cool bands."
I first saw Def Leppard after they had just released their first album, "On Through The Night." They were the opening act on a bill that included The Scorpions (they had just released, "The Zoo") and Ted Nugent.
I also saw them on the "Pyromania" tour and finally just a couple of years ago in Des Moines when they toured with the GREATEST OF ALL TIME, KISS.
I have seen Journey once - at the Iowa State Fair.
Good news on two fronts today: Def Leppard and Journey are touring together and heading for Des Moines AND - for the first time in their career - ALL of Def Leppard's catalog (including an EP that I'd never heard) is available on the iHeartRadio app.
