It's seems only fitting that, a year into the Presidency of Donald Trump, the BBC would take a look into a year of Presidential tweets.
Some findings:
He tweets the most between 6 am and 8 am.
He is more critical than complimentary.
His favorite target for criticism is the media, followed by President Obama, the special counsel, and Hillary Clinton.
He likes to praise the military and veterans the most, followed by Fox shows and first responders.
Many callers and texters to my show have changed their mind about the President's Twitter feed. They liked it at first, but now thinks it distracts from his accomplishments.
I am not among those that think he should stop Tweeting...because he absolutely CONTROLS the news cycle. But here's my advice:
1. Praise more than criticize
2. Tout your accomplishments more often
3. Respond to criticism directly, but not in a personal way (targeting looks or weight).
