As predicted on the show, the US Senate has voted to reopen the government after a brief shutdown.
The shutdown is a show for each political party's voting "base." The "base are partisan voters who almost NEVER vote for the opposing party.
So did the Democrats lose this round?
You would think so from the headlines following the annoucement that the shutdown is ending:
