DES MOINES, IOWA - Des Moines neighbors on Facebook this weekend asked each other, "What's going on?" after a series of shots fired and drive-by-shootings.
Gunshots were reported near Douglas Avenue Saturday around 2.
A house and fence were hit by bullets Saturday afternoon at 4 in the fairgrounds area. Neighbors there tell WHO Channel 13 they watched as a car stopped, a man got out, pulled a gun and started shooting.
Also this weekend a man was reportedly assaulted while in an alley near the McDonalds restaurant at SW 9th and Virginia. He told police the suspects shot at him but missed.
There were two people shot in two separate shootings near Drake University this weekend. One man was shot in the foot, the other was hit in the stomach and arms.
