DES MOINES, IOWA - A man is in jail, accused of a drive-by shooting Monday while three children were in the backseat of his car.
Des Moines Police say 29-year-old Ricco Mure was driving a red Monte Carlo near East 13th and Mattern when he fired shots out the window.
A witness described the car speeding away after the drive-by shooting, and officers spotted the car at a Kwik Trip on ML King Parkway a short time later, and arrested Mure.
Police say inside Mure's car they found a handgun, as well as Mure's girlfriend and her three children.
