DES MOINES, Iowa - A masked man reached for his waistband threateningly and demanded all the money in the cash register at a south side Des Moines Kum and Go overnight.
The clerk says he told the robber he didn't need to pull the gun, that he would comply, according to Des Moines Police.
Investigators say the robber left the store on foot with a plastic bag full of cash. They used a police K-9 to search the area near the store, , at 4001 southwest 9th, but did not find the suspect.
