CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A car going the wrong way on I-380 at Cedar Rapids Monday night led to a multi-vehicle crash that shut down the interstate highway for six hours.

Cedar Rapids police say they got numerous calls just after 9 Monday night reporting a car going southbound in the northbound lanes.

There were multiple injuries reported, and the interstate stretch was not reopened until 3 am because of the large amount of debris in the road.

Police say they will release more information about the crash later today.
