(NEVADA, Iowa) More information's being released about a Nevada man, hit by a train yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
The Story County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Calvin White was walking west on tracks in Nevada, when he was struck by a westbound train. The incident happened about a mile west of the S-14 viaduct.
White was taken to a Des Moines hospital, with serious injuries. Authorities say the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
