Des Moines Police are investigating a shooting near the Royal Oaks Apartments at 26th and Hickman Road.
Witnesses reported around 5:20pm that two men were exchanging gunfire. One man reportedly was firing shots at a brown Chevrolet Suburban while standing near the intersection. A witness reported that one man exited from the vehicle and fled on foot.
So far there are no reported injuries or property damage.
