(AMES, Iowa) Several emergency vehicles were hit while responding to the huge pile-up on I-35 in Ames Monday.
The vehicles are among hundreds, damaged in crashes in Iowa Monday during the snow-storm.
The State Patrol is reminding drivers that Iowa law requires motorists to: Change lanes or slow down when approaching a stationary emergency, tow, or maintenance vehicle that has its flashing lights activated.
