Authorities have identified the remains of the woman found inside a burning vehicle Saturday in rural Davis County. The Iowa Department of Public Safety says the woman was 63-year-old Sharon Kay Moritz of Northwood.
In a news release, the DPS says the vehicle was registered to her. The car was a White 2008 Chevrolet Impala.
They say an autopsy won't be completed for 2 to 4 weeks to determine the exact cause of death.
