Six Iowans arrested after meth investigation

(DES MOINES, Iowa)  Six Iowans have been arrested on drug charges, after search warrants were served in a multiple locations in the Des Moines area and central and southern Iowa.

Athorities say three people from Des Moines, 55-year-old Terry Sapp, 39-year-old Jennifer Jesse, and 44-year-old Nicholas George are charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Fifty-four-year-old Jeffrey Chaffee of Carlisle, 58-year-old Timothy McClain of Promise City, and 57-year-old Samuel Lamb of Lucas are facing the same charges.  

Search warrants were executed Wednesday, February 14th at the following locations:

4600 block of Hubbell Avenue, Des Moines

1800 block of Dean Avenue, Des Moines

3100 block of East Tiffin Avenue, Des Moines

1000  block of 60th Street, Windsor 

block of North 1st Street, Carlisle

180000 block of Oregon Street, Milo

300 block of North Street, Promise City

200 block of East Morton Street, Lucas

1300 block of Andover Court, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The searches involved numerous agencies in Iowa, including the Des Moines Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Iowa State Patrol, Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force, Central Iowa Drug Task Force, South Central Iowa Drug Task Force, Wayne County Sheriff's Office, and the Lucas County Sheriff's Office.
