Representative Adam Schiff has been tasked by the Democrats with being the face of the "Trump/Russia Collusion" narrative. For over a year, the Congressman has been appearing on talk shows to speak in ominous tones with vague statements about information he has seen (but the public hasn't) that suggest a vast criminal conspiracy.
Now that Russians have been indicted for engaging in propaganda during and after the election and no collusion has been found, Schiff apparently realizes that he needs to restore some credibility.
Democrats have been trying to slam Trump this weekend for his lack of attention to Russian interference. Their problem is that the interference referenced in the indictment by special counsel Robert Mueller occurred on OBAMA'S watch.
At least Schiff recognized that this weekend.
President Trump Sunday praised Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff for putting some of the blame for Russian interference in the 2016 election on President Obama, while still referring to him derisively as “liddle.”
The comment comes after the Californian said the Obama administration’s lax response to the 2014 hack of Sony helped encourage the Russians to pull off their influence campaign in the 2016 election.
It's safe to say, though, that the President's tweet doesn't indicate that it's all good between him and the Congressman.
