A very enterprising young lady and her helpers joined us in the studio this morning. Twelve year-old Alicia Kamran, 9 year-old sister Elisheba and 9 year-old friend Armaan Pederson are raising money for Blank Children's Hospital to help them build a new Pediatric Care Center that will be opening in the early spring of this year. She has already raised $5,000 and has another fundraiser coming up on Saturday, March 17th from 6-8PM at Glen Oaks Country Club. Alicia has garnered a lot of very nice items from businesses to auction off to try to raise more money for the new Pediatric Care Center.
