(WAUKEE, Iowa) The Waukee Community School District is sharing some background about allegations of inappropriate contact with teen students.
The District sent a letter to parents today (Wednesday), stating about a year ago, they learned of accusations that Frank Scaglione had inappropriate contact with one or more students, off school grounds and outside the school day.
The letter states school officials talked with students, parents, and local police. Scaglione has been asked to refrain from contacting students and employees. He's also no longer allowed onto school property or to attend Waukee School District activities.
Waukee also ended a contract with Scaglione.
West Des Moines and Waukee Police are investigating the allegations. No charges have been filed.
