Ottumwa pizza delivery guy has car stolen, robber killed in fatal crash

A 21 year old pizza delivery man had his face slashed and his car stolen-then the robber smashed into another vehicle, killing both drivers.

It happened Monday evening.  Police say Christian Garrett was attacked by a man who stole his vehicle Monday night around 7:45pm. About 15 minutes later, police got a report of a two-car accident near the intersection of Highway 34 and County Road T61.  The accident report says the stolen car was driven by 28 year old Nathaniel Stroud of Centerville.  He hit a vehicle driven by Summer Cox of Allerton.  Both Cox and Stroud were killed.

Police say Stroud was identified as the man who stole the car.
