(URBANDALE, Iowa) A car went off the I-80/35 ramp near Bob Brown Chevy in Urbandale this (Monday) morning.
Bob Brown Technician Johnathan Sanders saw the northbound car, leave the ramp and tumble down a hill, rolling over several times. The car crashed through a portion of fencing and slammed into a new truck (cab chassis) on the car dealership lot. Sanders says the truck prevented the car from rolling again.
A paramedic who just happened to be at the car dealership at the time, ran to help the driver. Urbandale Police say the driver suffered minor injuries. Damage to the new truck was described as minimal.
