DES MOINES, Iowa - The St. Patrick's Day parade is Saturday at noon in Des Moines. That means a big crowd.
"We get huge crowds no matter what day we hold it on." Jerry Grady with the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick tells WHO Radio's Van and Bonnie. "But, weekends are particularly good."
The parade route starts at 15th and MLK, and runs up 15th to Grand, then east on Grand to 8th.
There will be three parade announcer spots:
- Grand and 9th near the parade judges
- 15th and Locust
- WHO Radio's Andy Peterson and Wendy Wilde will be at 13th and Grand
