(DES MOINES, Iowa) Des Moines Police have posted a not-so subtle reminder about celebrating St Patrick's Day on the department's Facebook page.
Police are reminding residents that St. Patrick's Day is one of the deadliest holidays due to the number of drunk drivers on the road.
Police say there are many options to avoid impaired driving, including designated drivers, public transportation, taxi, Uber, and Lyft.
The Des Moines Police Department plans to have extra officers working the streets, and they're reminding St Patrick Day revelers not to "push their luck."
