Governor Reynolds to get a primary challenge...maybe

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds may have a Republican primary challenge after all.

The Iowa Secretary of State's office says former Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett waited til an hour before the 5pm deadline Friday to submit his nominating papers.  The Secretary of State's office says those papers have not yet been checked for their accuracy.

There still are six Democratic candidates for governor that will compete in a June primary election. Making the deadline are State Senator Nate Boulton, local SEIU union president Cathy Glasson, businessman Fred Hubbell, physician and former Iowa Democratic Party chair Dr. Andy McGuire, campaign operative John Norris, and former Iowa City Mayor Ross Wilburn.

Here's a list of all the filings received by the Iowa Secretary of State by the 5pm deadline
