DES MOINES, Iowa - Democratic Minority Leader Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi coming to Des Moines.
Republicans as well as Democrats are marking the day on their calendars: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will be the featured speaker at the Polk County Democratic Party's spring event in May.
May 6th, she'll be the featured speaker at the event, which costs $75 per person to attend. The event will take place at the Forte Banquet and Conference Center.
Already, the Iowa Republican Party is on the attack. The party released as statement panning the event, saying county Democrats are hitching their future to Pelosi, who they called the widely unpopular former Speaker of the House.
