As WHO Radio news reported, a new movie based on an Iowa high school volleyball's team's inspirational season will open in theaters on April 6th.
There was a special screening of the film, "The Miracle Season" last Sunday in Iowa City. It's based on the Iowa City West High School volleyball team, which lost it's star player in 2011 at the beginning of the season.
Caroline Found died in a moped crash. The movie focuses on how Caroline impacted others' lives.
Late in 2017, Frank Deford visited the Iowa City West Girls Volleyball team. He shot the above segment for the HBO program, "Real Sports."
