(DES MOINES, Iowa) Iowa's trying to grow it's Registered Apprenticeship Program, including skilled trades, but also other types of careers such as health care, IT, advanced manufacturing, and financial services.
Amy Beller of Iowa Workforce Development says job seekers, and employers can get information on a new website, (www.Earntolearniowa.gov) about the program. She says it's a tool for high school students, as well as adults interested in pursuing another career.
Earnandlearniowa.gov is a collaboration between Iowa Workforce Development, the U.S. Department of Labor/Office of Apprenticeship in Iowa and Iowa Economic Development Authority.
