Whitney Garcia with the city of Ankeny  explains their "Play it Forward," program, to collect gently used sporting equipment. 

Steve Havemann of St. Vincent de Paul in Des Moines, says furniture donations are welcome.

Jessi Steward with the Iowa Association of Business and Industry says registration is underway for their "Business Horizons" summer program for teens, interested in business careers.  West Des Moines Valley High School student Julius Imafidon describes the event and encourages students to register.
