Help your local school fund STEM education

Here's your chance to nominate area schools for America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) grants.

This year, Grow Rural Education will award schools $2.3 million through $10,000 and $25,000 grants, which make a lasting impact. Recently the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind, a 2017 grant recipient, used the funds to add an Augmented Reality sandbox to its STEM curriculum, which is a high-tech tool allowing students to study issues like water flow and erosion.

Farmers can nominate schools to receive the funding until April 2, 2018, by clicking here or by calling 1-877-267-3332 toll-free. We also want to encourage teachers to connect with farmers and ask them to nominate their school.
