Stop the Bleed public educational classes are available Tuesday, April 10th at 9AM and Thursday, April 12th at 1:30PM in the Education and Research Center at IMMC (ground level of the parking ramp on the west side of the hospital. Each class takes about an hour. The will discuss how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, how to apply pressure to a wound to stop bleeding and how to properly apply a tourniquet to stop bleeding. This is an interactive, hands-on class...engaging and fun.
