WWE's WrestleMania Trends Everywhere; MMA Veterans Shine

WWE's WrestleMania event is always one of the hottest trends of the weekend when it is held in the spring and this weekend was no different.

The event's attendance was announced at better than 78,000 spectators in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans and millions were watching on the WWE Network.

The biggest storyline for casual fans was the debut of former UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey in a WWE ring. Rousey teamed with former world champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle to face Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match.

As you can see, Rousey still has the insane athleticism and fighting ability that made her one of the most famous athletes in the world. Even with a different stage, her MMA experience proved to crossover to the sports entertainment realm.

Later in the show, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar wrestled in the main event against Roman Reigns. Lesnar entered the match as the Universal Champion. The match was brutal to watch, as you can imagine:

WrestleMania as always was a spectacle to behold of any fans of entertainment or wrestling, and it was a night to remember for former MMA champions to say the least.
