Scott Raecker of Character Counts joined us in the studio this morning to fill us in on some special events coming up for Character Counts. 10,000 4th and 5th graders from all over Iowa will be converging in Hy-Vee Hall tomorrow for "Exercising Your Character". Peggy Whitson, our Iowa Astronaut will be receiving the Robert D. Ray Pillar of Character Award at their annual fundraising event, "Aan All-Star Evening". Plus, it's time to make your nominations for the Iowa Character Awards. Nominations are due May 1st. You can make your nomination at www.IowaCharacterAwards.org.
