DECORAH, Iowa - The famous Decorah Eagles may have lost the father bird.
The father Decorah eagle has been missing since last week, Wednesday. He was last at the nest April 18, after the snow storm, bringing a fish to feed the babies, and then give the mother eagle a break from the nest.
The Raptor Resource Project says they have searched the area for the father Eagle, in case he is injured, but have had no success. The search area will be expanded.
Usually an experienced male Eagle parent stays very near the nest.
