DES MOINES, Iowa - Gas prices are the highest they've been in four years right now, with the nationwide average of $2.81, 43-cents higher than one year ago.
AAA says we should expect gas prices to continue increasing, potentially another 10 cents through Memorial Day, and then likely stabilize during the summer.
Iowa's average gas price is below the national average.
